Mr. Frey is responsible for investor relations and plays a management role within the acquisition and asset management functions. Prior to joining The Davis Companies, Mr. Frey was the founder and Managing Partner at Baypoint Group LLC, where he partnered with emerging real estate managers to establish investment strategies, target and execute transactions and raise institutional capital. Prior to Baypoint he was a Vice President at AEW Capital Management, L.P., where he was responsible for acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions in the firm's opportunity fund group. Over his career he has been involved in over $1B of real estate transactions across Canada and the U.S. in all major property types. He has also worked with numerous institutional investors on their real estate strategies, and while at AEW was instrumental in raising over $400mm of institutional capital. He is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and serves on the board of the Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition in Massachusetts. Mr. Frey graduated from the Engineering School at Cornell University, is a LEED Accredited Professional and licensed real estate salesperson in Massachusetts.
