Chris Lasky serves as Vice President, Development Joint Ventures for The Davis Companies and is responsible for coordinating and supervising the management of all aspects of our real estate development projects contracted with third party joint venture development partners.
Mr. Lasky also leads The Davis Companies’ Pittsburgh office and has direct responsibility for the design and construction of development projects in the region. Most Recently, Chris was responsible for the successful restoration and repositioning of the Union Trust Building in downtown Pittsburgh.
Additionally Mr. Lasky pursues future development opportunities, provides due diligence support to the acquisitions group, and liaises with local and state governmental officials. Mr. Lasky has 20 years of architectural experience, the vast majority in the Pittsburgh region. This experience includes owning and operating his own architectural firm, projects including restoring the 121 Ninth Street building and Owner’s Representative for gifting the property for the new Pittsburgh Public Schools CAPA High School in the Cultural Trust District. He has served as Project Architect on large local projects such as the Alcoa Corporate Center on the North Shore, and as Vice President of Massaro Construction Management Services overseeing 30 employees in multiple offices. Projects include the Penn State University Bio- Behavioral Health and Health and Human Services projects, a 240,000-SF two phase LEED Silver project constructed on a dense urban campus.
Mr. Lasky serves on the American Institute of Architects National Documents Committee, and on the American Arbitration Association Construction Division Roster of Neutrals
