Civetta Therapeutics Leases 29,871 SF at The Quad in West Cambridge

BOSTON – The Davis Companies announced that Civetta Therapeutics, LLC leased 29,871 square feet of laboratory and office space at The Quad at 10 Wilson Road in Cambridge, MA.

Civetta Therapeutics is a biotechnology company focused on developing therapeutics for cancer and other diseases.

McKenna K. Teague of CBRE represented the tenant, Civetta Therapeutics, and Eric Smith of CBRE represented the landlord, a joint venture between The Davis Companies and Invesco.

The Quad is a ±510,000 RSF life science campus comprising four new and redeveloped life science/lab/R&D buildings. It is located just minutes from Alewife Station, the anchor of the MBTA’s Red Line, connecting the region’s top talent and well-educated work force in West Cambridge with Harvard Square, Kendall Square, Downtown Boston, and the Seaport neighborhood.

Civetta was founded by Deerfield Management and scientific leaders William Sellers, MD and Eric Fischer, PhD. Dr. Sellers is a Core Institute Member of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard and a Professor of Medicine at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Fischer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Harvard Medical School and an Independent Investigator at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The Quad campus consists of 4 newly redeveloped Lab Science buildings in West Cambridge.

The Davis Companies Sells Alewife Research Center In Cambridge To HealthPeak For $332.5 Million

BOSTON – The Davis Companies announced the sale of the Alewife Research Center , a newly developed Class A laboratory building located at 35 CambridgePark Drive in Cambridge, MA to Healthpeak Properties Inc.

Vice Chairman Edward Maher, Executive Managing Directors Matthew Pullen and James Tribble and Director Samantha Hallowell of Newmark Knight Frank’s (NKF) Boston Capital Markets team – which is led by Co-Head of U.S. Capital Markets Robert Griffin – oversaw the transaction with a reported sale price of $332.5M.

Developed by the Davis Companies in partnership with Invesco and completed in November of 2018, Alewife Research Center (ARC) is a state-of-the-art, 224,305-square-foot life science building with a 331-space parking garage.
