Our senior executive team consists of 10 industry veterans with an average of 31 years of real estate experience and proven track records of unlocking value through successfully navigating complex transactions across multiple economic cycles.
As Chief Investment Officer, Quentin leads Davis’ investment team and is responsible for the origination, underwriting, closing and monitoring of the investments made on behalf of the company’s value-add investment funds.
Quentin serves on the Investment Committee for each of the active funds and also shares the responsibility for setting investment strategy and overseeing fund level portfolio construction and overall risk management.
Prior to joining Davis, Quentin spent more than 15 years in real estate finance and investment management at Silverpeak Real Estate and its predecessor, Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners where he was involved in the acquisition, financing and management of opportunistic real estate investments across a broad array of markets, property types and capital structures.
Quentin joined Davis in 2013 and has led the company’s investment team during the investment periods for funds II, III, IV and V. Quentin received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School.
As Chief Portfolio Management Officer, Cappy is responsible for helping the team identify, assess, and strategically pursue new opportunities while also focusing on maximizing value within Davis’s real estate portfolio. In addition to being responsible for investment performance, Cappy also manages the firm’s dispositions, which represent over $6.5B in gross sales price since the inception of the fund business. Cappy is an active member of the Investment and Executive Committees. Prior to joining Davis, Cappy was a Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly a partner at Spaulding & Slye), leading the company’s Boston Capital Markets Group.
Over her 35-year career, Cappy has been active in a variety of industry associations including NAIOP, CREW, ULI, REFA, PREA and GRBREB. In 2021, Cappy was recognized as one of 10 Outstanding Women Leaders by Boston Real Estate Times and was selected as a panelist for the Connect 2022 CRE Women’s Outlook Webinar, which is available at this link. Additionally, she has served on the boards of NAIOP, REFA, and CREW. Cappy has received numerous awards throughout her career including the Banker & Tradesman’s “Women of FIRE” Award ; Boston’s “Top 10” Real Estate Professionals by Women’s Business Boston; CoStar’s Power Broker Award; Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award; Boston Magazine’s list of Greater Boston’s “100 Most Influential Women”; GBREB’s “Top 5” Investment Sales Person Award and Multi-Million Dollar Sales Award for several years running, and is a multiple year recipient of Forum’s Real Estate Power Broker Award.
Cappy is an active member of the Women’s Mental Health Leadership Council, is a National Council Member at McClean Hospital, and is a committee leader of Heading Home’s She4She program.
Cappy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Outside of real estate, Cappy enjoys biking, hiking, skiing and playing pickle ball with her husband, Sam, and their two children, Carter and Ben.
As Chief Operating Officer, Leslie Cohen is a key contributor to Davis’s business strategy and is responsible for driving its successful implementation and financial performance. She oversees the day-to-day business operations, specifically in the areas of Finance and Accounting, Property Management, Legal and Compliance, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, and Administration.
Leslie serves as the Chairperson of the Company’s Executive Committee and is a voting member of the Investment Committee. She is also responsible for fostering and maintaining an inclusive corporate culture one that ensures employee engagement and retention, as well as overseeing the successful implementation of that strategy.
Prior to joining Davis, Leslie served as the COO and Head of Asset Management for Samuels & Associates, a Boston-based Real Estate Development and Management firm, where she was responsible for executing the strategic vision of the firm across numerous large-scale developments in Boston and the surrounding communities.
An active leader in the region’s real estate community, Leslie served as the President of CREW Boston (formerly NEWiRE) and was the 2020 President of NAIOP MA. She currently serves on the NAIOP MA Board Management Committee. Leslie is a former board member of Heading Home and since 2019 has been a leading member of the fundraising team for Heading Home’s Housewarming. Leslie is a former member of the Tufts Buildings and Grounds Committee. Leslie serves as a Trustee of Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall School and is a current member of its Buildings and Grounds and Finance Committees. This combination of professional success and civic engagement has resulted in numerous honors, including recognition as a Bisnow’s Power Women in Commercial Real Estate, Boston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business, Globe Street Women of Influence and multiple awards from CREW Boston.
A resident of Brookline, Cohen has a BCSE in Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Babson College.
As Chief Financial Officer, Josh is responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial operations, including finance, accounting, tax, budgeting, treasury, and insurance, as well as implementing all financial strategies. Josh has over 22 years of diversified real estate experience, including private equity investment and banking. Prior to joining Davis, Josh spent seven years at Realty Financial Partners, a Boston-based manager of real estate opportunity funds. Employed most recently as Director of Portfolio and Asset Management, Josh was responsible for finance, accounting and investor relations for the firm’s closed-end funds and separate accounts.
Between his two engagements at Realty Financial Partners, Josh spent 5 years in commercial banking with Admirals Bank and Northeast Bank as a Senior Vice President. In these roles, he was involved in sourcing and underwriting more than $1 billion of commercial real estate loan originations and acquisitions throughout the United States. Josh began his career at Massey Knakal Realty (now Cushman & Wakefield) in New York City.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School at New York University.
As Chief Development Officer, Michael leads Davis’s Development team which manages all aspects of ground-up development and redevelopment projects from initial conception through entitlement, design, construction, marketing and lease up. He serves as a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees.
Michael began his career and spent more than three decades at Boston Properties (NYSE: BXP), where he ascended to the role of Senior Vice President of Development and was responsible for new development throughout the Boston regional office territory as well as select developments across the country.
During his tenure at Boston Properties, Michael and his team delivered over 15 million square feet of office, laboratory, residential, retail, hotel and related uses. Notable projects include The Hub on Causeway, a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use project on the site of the former Boston Garden arena at North Station in Boston; Salesforce Tower, a 1.4 million SF first class office tower in San Francisco; Kendall Center, a 5 million SF mixed use project in Cambridge, MA; and Atlantic Wharf, a 860,000 SF mixed use project in Boston.
Michael is former Chairman and current board member of A Better City and is Vice Chairman and Trustee of Malden Catholic High School, his high school alma mater. He has presented at numerous conferences and seminars for industry groups including NAIOP, ULI, ICSC, Massachusetts Building Congress and Build Boston.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
As Managing Director of Property Management and Operations, Mark oversees the firm’s property management and operations activities and is involved in every facet of the business for its existing portfolio, while also overseeing the physical due diligence process for all new firm acquisitions. Mark also serves as a member of both the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
With more than 40 years of commercial real estate experience, Mark has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining Davis, Mark was the Managing Director, Eastern Region for Equity Office (EQ), a national office company wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, where he designed and executed strategies and business plans to maximize investment performance in 40 million sq. ft. of real estate across a portfolio of 80 properties in Chicago, Columbus, Florida, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York and Boston.
Prior to joining Equity Office, Mark was President of Winthrop Realty Partners LP, a Boston and New York-based real estate investment trust. Mark was the driving force behind the company’s growth and success as a nationally recognized management company. In his role as President, he directed operations, as well as set the strategic vision for both the residential and commercial management divisions.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
As Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets & Investor Relations, Steve brings over 35 years of institutional commercial real estate industry experience to his position. Steve leads equity capital raising for all company investment and development initiatives. He oversees the Investor Relations team and has primary responsibility for all investor communications, as well as managing, maintaining and expanding Davis’s investor, consultant and distribution relationships. Since joining Davis in early-2017, Steve has proactively raised more than $2.5BN in equity capital, including raising $977.1MM for Davis Investment Ventures Fund V, $777.5MM for Davis Investment Ventures Fund IV and approximately $340MM in co-investment equity capital for Funds III, IV and V.
Prior to joining Davis, Steve was a Portfolio manager at Bentall Kennedy in Boston, where he was responsible for portfolio management, sourcing new opportunities, and researching investment opportunities. While at Bentall Kennedy, Steve was also the key U.S. point person for the C$560MM sale of Bentall Kennedy to Sun Life. Steve led private real estate investment at Cohen & Steers, where he functioned as the Chief Investment Officer for Global Realty Partners. Steve was a Managing Director at Citigroup Property Investors (CPI), where he was CPI’s Chief Investment Strategist, heading all global research and investment strategy decisions and was also the founder and portfolio manager of Citigroup Real Estate Partners.
Steve previously served as Co-Chair of PREA’s Capital Markets Affinity Group and was a past Chairman of ULI’s IOPC Blue Council. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, the Pension Real Estate Association’s Research Committee, Real Estate Research Institute’s Advisory Board, and The Institutional Real Estate Letter’s Editorial Board.
Steve received a B.A. in Economics and German from Hampden-Sydney College, and an M.A. in Economic Policy from Boston University.
As Davis’s Managing Director, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer, Rob leads the legal and compliance teams and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all legal services to the firm and its affiliates, as well as overseeing the firm’s compliance function. He also serves on the Executive and Investment Committees. Rob’s legal responsibilities include advising the firm on transactional, employment, regulatory, and corporate matters. Rob’s role as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer is performed in accordance with the requirements of the Investment Advisers Act, under the purview of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Prior to joining Davis, Rob was a real estate attorney at Bingham McCutchen, a full-service international law firm. Rob is a council member for the Boston Bar Association, serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Counsel of the URI College of Business and is a Director of the Needham Land Trust.
Rob received his JD from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Law Review, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island majoring in International Business.
As Chief Executive Officer, Stephen oversees the day-to-day management and strategic direction of all aspects of Davis’ vertically integrated platform, spanning firm-wide investment, execution and capital strategies, operational oversight, organizational leadership, and key stakeholder relationships.
Stephen is an active member of real estate industry organizations PREA [1], ULI [2] and NAIOP [3] where he serves as a member of the Board Management Committee. An active member of Boston’s nonprofit sector, Stephen also serves as a Board member for The Civic Action Project [4], The Boch Center [5] and Heading Home [6].
Stephen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University, a Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) degree from the MIT Center for Real Estate.

Jon Davis is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Davis. He has over 50 years of real estate management and development experience and remains actively involved in shaping the firm’s strategy, advising the executive team, and supporting investor engagement, deal sourcing, financing, and transaction execution. Jon serves on the Firm’s Investment Committee and plays an important role in the identification and evaluation of new opportunities and the stewardship of Davis’s investment platform.
Jon has received numerous awards, including Ernst & Young’s New England Entrepreneur of the Year award [1] in the real estate and construction category, the “Leader in Philanthropy” [2] award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Distinguished Real Estate Award from the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP) [3], the Norman Leventhal/Edwin Sidman Community Leadership Award from the United Way of Massachusetts Bay [4], the President’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation from The Boston Preservation Alliance [5] and the Robert S. Swain Award [6] for distinguished service to both the real estate industry and the Greater Boston community by The Real Estate Finance Association of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
Jon has been involved as a leader on the Boards of Directors of several nonprofit organizations, including Brandeis University [A], The Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston [B], where he serves as a board and executive committee member and former Board Chair, The Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Foundation [C], The Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston [D], and public radio station WBUR [E]. Jon graduated from Brandeis University.

Our seasoned investments professionals have a proven ability to capitalize on opportunities in all business cycles and are responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing deals on behalf of the firm and its investment funds.
As an Analyst in Research and Responsible Investing at Davis, Ava contributes to both the firm’s investment strategy and its sustainability initiatives. In her role, she analyzes market trends, supports deal underwriting, and advances Davis’ ESG performance, with a focus on transforming data-driven insights into impactful, responsible investment strategies.
Prior to joining Davis, Ava gained hands-on experience in sustainability, policy and data analysis, and stakeholder engagement through her work with the City of Hayward’s Environmental Services Department as a Climate Action and Sustainability Fellow. Her background also includes implementing educational programming at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, and landscape restoration projects with UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden.
Ava earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with a Minor in Landscape Restoration from the University of California, Davis. She holds a Climate Steward Certification through UC Environmental Stewards.
As an Analyst on the Investments team, Brendan provides robust analytical support across a broad range of asset classes and markets. He plays an integral role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities, with a strong emphasis on building detailed financial models and valuations. In addition, Brendan conducts comprehensive market and property-level research to refine underwriting assumptions and actively contributes to the due diligence process.
Before joining Davis, Brendan built a strong foundation in real estate investment through his roles at Synergy and Claybrook Capital. As a member of the asset management team, he partnered with acquisition and leasing teams to analyze potential opportunities, develop financial models, and produce detailed market research that informed key portfolio strategies and investment decisions.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Babson College. He was captain of the Babson College men’s lacrosse team and a two-time USA Lacrosse All-American.
Lauren is a Senior Analyst on the Investments team at Davis. In this role, Lauren serves as a core member of the Industrial and Science & Technology vertical, supporting transaction underwriting, analysis and execution. Lauren’s work spans building and maintaining complex financial models, preparation of Investment Committee packages, conducting in-depth market and property-level research and coordinating cross-functionally across asset management, development, finance and legal teams to drive transactions from underwriting through closing.
Prior to Davis, Lauren served as an Investments Analyst at Northland Investment Corporation where she supported analysis on over $1.1 billion of transactions, created Investment Committee memoranda, and worked in close partnership with asset management, portfolio management, and operations teams to ensure business plan execution and asset performance tracking.
Lauren graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Political Science, with a Minor in Urban Studies.
As Senior Associate for Davis, Alex is responsible for underwriting, market research and due diligence for new deals in the greater New York City market. Alex also supports the company’s Asset Management team with a focus on New York City assets.
Prior to joining Davis, Alex began his career at RXR Realty on the Investment Management team. At RXR Realty, Alex closed over $1.0BN of investments while also supporting the firm’s Asset Management team with business plan execution and quarterly valuations.
In 2019, Alex received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
As a Senior Associate, Investments at Davis, Jake is responsible for originating, evaluating, and executing all aspects of new residential investment opportunities. He plays a key role in helping to create investment strategies within the residential investment vertical, developing and articulating investment-level theses, preparing Investment Committee materials, and presenting analyses to support internal decision-making. Jake works closely with internal teams and external partners throughout the acquisition, due diligence, and closing processes, and leads the transition of new investments to the Asset Management or Development teams following acquisition.
Prior to joining Davis, Jake began his career at Cigna Realty Investors working on new developments, acquisitions, and senior mortgage originations across a variety of markets.
Jake received his Bachelor of Science in Real Estate and Urban Economics from the University of Connecticut.
As the Director of Research, Carlos works closely with the firm’s Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Development teams in creating and implementing research tactics and framing investment strategy. He plays a key role in informing the firm’s investment and development activities while also advising on the management for the company’s portfolio.
Carlos has more than 10 years of experience in research and implementation roles, engaging in the investment decision-making process by developing data-driven schemes to guide targeted investment strategy, risk assessments and portfolio analysis for global equity funds. Prior to joining Davis, he served as Head of Real Estate Investment Research-Americas at Aberdeen Standard Investments in Boston. He previously worked as Vice President, Research for Bentall Kennedy in Boston, as Assistant Vice President, Investment Research for PGIM Real Estate in Madison, New Jersey, and as a Real Estate Economist at CoStar Portfolio Strategy in Boston.
Carlos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from Florida State University and a Master’s degree in Economics from Boston University.
Boston Real Estate Times: Carlos Ortea Joins The Davis Companies As Director Of Research
As a Vice President of Investments, Taylor is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, negotiating, and closing new investment opportunities on behalf of The Davis Companies. Taylor specializes in residential investments across the East Coast, with a focus on opportunistic strategies including office-to-residential conversions, multifamily development, senior housing, and new joint venture partnerships, with a specialized focus in the Washington DC and Northern Virginia markets.
Prior to joining Davis, Taylor began her career at AEW Capital Management, LP as a member of the Direct Investments Group.
Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from Babson College.
As a Vice President of Investments, Brendan is responsible for the origination, underwriting, and closing of investment opportunities made on behalf of Davis’ value-add investment funds. Brendan specializes in the life sciences and high intellectual office sector throughout the United States. Since joining Davis, Brendan has supported the company’s expansion of its life science portfolio with significant transactions including Charles Park, a 405,000 RSF lab redevelopment in East Cambridge, MA and 66 Galen Street, a 224,000 RSF lab development in Watertown, MA.
Prior to joining Davis in 2019, Brendan closed more than $7.1 billion in investment sale, structured equity, and financing transactions while at HFF, L.P. in New York City and Eastdil Secured in Boston. Brendan began his career on the acquisition & leasing team at BioMed Realty Trust.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Classics from The College of the Holy Cross and is a graduate of Noble & Greenough in Dedham, MA.
As a Vice President of Investments, Kevin is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and closing new acquisitions at The Davis Companies. Kevin specializes in industrial investing with a focus on building the firm’s activity in Greater Boston and expansion across the U.S.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin worked at AEW Capital Management, LP as a member of the Direct Investments Group.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics-Finance from Bentley University.
As a Managing Director on the investments team, Sean is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and closing of investments at Davis. Prior to joining Davis in 2011, Sean worked for TriSail Capital Corporation. At TriSail, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Sean was responsible for investments and asset management related to TriSail’s real estate mezzanine debt and joint venture equity platforms. Over his career, Sean has invested in transactions totaling approximately $4.0B in aggregate capitalization. Sean received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont and his Master of Science in Finance from Boston College.
Andrew Kurd serves as Managing Director of Investments, leading the firm’s New York office. In this role, he is responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities across the Greater New York region, working closely with Davis’ asset class vertical teams. His efforts support the firm’s continued growth and strategic expansion in one of its key markets. Additionally, Andrew is a voting member on the Investment Committee.
Andrew brings over 15 years of experience in real estate investment and finance. Prior to joining Davis, he was the Co-Chief Investment Officer at Savanna, where he led the underwriting, acquisition, financing, and disposition of more than $4.5 billion in transactions across all types of real estate. He began his career at Deutsche Bank, focusing on commercial real estate financing nationwide.
Andrew holds a BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also guest-lectured at Columbia University, is a member of several real estate industry organizations and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Long Island City Partnership.
As Managing Director of Investments, Jerry is responsible for originating, underwriting, and closing new acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Jerry spent more than 7 years in the commercial real estate industry. Most recently Jerry was at the Carlyle Group in Washington, DC, where he was involved in the management of investments totaling approximately $1.3 billion of equity invested across multiple asset classes and markets as well as real estate debt securities on behalf of Carlyle’s U.S. real estate funds. Jerry began his career at Fannie Mae, where he participated in strategic planning, research, and new product development for the multifamily lending and investment side of the company. Jerry received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
Alex serves as Managing Director, Head of Real Estate Credit Strategies and Portfolio Manager – Credit Fund. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s debt portfolio, driving all debt investments with a focus on portfolio strategy and business plan creation and execution. In addition, he manages the firm’s debt sourcing strategy, identifying strategic high-impact opportunities that align with long-term portfolio objectives.
Alex brings over 29 years of experience in the commercial real estate investment and debt capital markets sectors. Prior to joining Davis, he served as Principal and Portfolio Manager of Credit at Pennybacker Capital where he managed high yield, opportunistic and special situation investments from capital raising and sourcing through realizations. Prior to joining Pennybacker, he founded and ran WestRiver Capital LLC, a $188M private equity credit fund. Prior to WestRiver, Zabik served for nine years as a Managing Director of the BlackRock, Inc. Real Estate Debt Group, where he was responsible for developing and growing the high-yield commercial real estate debt business. At BlackRock, in his role as Managing Director, he was part of the investment team that originated and managed approximately $4 billion of investments.
Alex holds a B.A. from Boston University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Babson College. He is a member of the President’s council for the Real Estate Roundtable, CREFC Planning Committee, Pension Real Estate Association, and the Real Estate Lenders Association.

Prior to joining Davis, Quentin spent more than 15 years in real estate finance and investment management at Silverpeak Real Estate and its predecessor, Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners where he was involved in the acquisition, financing and management of opportunistic real estate investments across a broad array of markets, property types and capital structures.
Quentin joined Davis in 2013 and has led the company’s investment team during the investment periods for funds II, III, IV and V. Quentin received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School.
This team is responsible for executing on the business plan for each of the firm’s assets and driving property-level results by overseeing capital improvements, engaging in proactive leasing activities, conducting financial analysis, ensuring holistic operations, and strategically managing dispositions.
As an Asset Management Senior Analyst at Davis, Justin is responsible for continual business planning, financial analysis, and operational management of a diverse portfolio of assets and deal structures, including stabilized assets, developments projects, and joint ventures. He provides support on multiple verticals at Davis with properties across various asset classes and geographies.
Prior to joining Davis, he worked as an Analyst in JLL’s Boston Capital Markets office. During his time there he served primarily on the Debt and Equity placement team, while additionally assisting in multiple sales processes. In total he participated in facilitating over $500 million of transactions.
Justin graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.S. in both Finance and Real Estate, where he was actively involved in the Real Estate Club and completed coursework in advanced financial modeling and real estate investment analysis.
As an Asset Management Associate at Davis, Steven conducts financial analyses on portfolio operations, including cash flow, hold/sell, and distribution models. Steven also monitors the operations of the assets of the portfolio, identifying potential areas of concern or opportunity. Steven predominantly focuses on the Science and Technology sectors, including life science, advanced R&D, cGMP flex, office, and development sites.
Prior to Davis, Steven worked as an Analyst at The RMR Group where he collaborated with portfolio and asset managers to optimize the performance and strategy of the managed REITs.
Steven graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Washington where he received a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and a Minor in Informatics.
Tess is an Associate in Asset Management, specializing in overseeing a portfolio of industrial and self-storage assets. In this role, she implements strategic business plans to optimize asset performance and maximize value.
Prior to this, Tess was with Tishman Speyer, where she contributed to the management of office and residential portfolios in the Greater Boston area. Outside of her professional work, Tess is actively involved in several organizations, including the NAIOP Developing Leaders Committee, the NAIOP Government Affairs Committee and the Junior League of Boston Advocacy Committee. She is also a dedicated volunteer and active member of the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston.
Tess holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
As a Senior Associate in Asset Management, Nhung is responsible for financial analysis, leasing, repositioning, and dispositions across hospitality, retail, and office properties, ensuring optimal asset performance. With a strategic, proactive approach, she develops and implements asset management strategies that drive portfolio value.
With over 12 years of industry experience, Nhung began her career in investment management on the buy-side at Fidelity and Eaton Vance, focusing on REITs, gaming, and lodging companies. This foundational experience provided her with a strong framework in financial analysis and investment principles. She transitioned to direct real estate on the principal side, most recently at Bridge Investments, where she focused on office assets in Boston and Washington, D.C. Notably, in 2022, she secured a 20,000 SF, 11-year lease agreement with a new tenant, earning the CoStar Impact Award.
Nhung graduated from Bowdoin College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Economics and minoring in Anthropology. Beyond her professional role, she is actively engaged in charitable initiatives, supporting organizations such as Seed Global Health and Winter Walk, demonstrating a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Andrew serves as Senior Associate, Asset Management where he is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties across their full lifecycle. In this role, Andrew oversees property performance, financial analysis, and value-enhancing initiatives including redevelopment, leasing and capital projects. He collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to optimize asset performance, execute strategic business plans, and guide transactions from acquisition through disposition.
Prior to joining Davis, Andrew worked as an Associate at Grubb Properties, where he helped secure and close over $450 million in capital for office, mixed-use, and multifamily projects nationwide. As a Development and Investments Analyst at Stirling Properties, he underwrote acquisition and development opportunities totaling more than $2 billion and 20 million square feet.
Andrew holds dual master’s degrees from Tulane University – a Master of Business Administration from the A.B. Freeman School of Business and a Master of Sustainable Real Estate Development from the School of Architecture. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Louisiana State University.
As a Senior Associate Asset Management for Davis, Katie is responsible for financial analyses and monitoring the operations of assets, in addition to assisting with the underwriting, due diligence, closing, and selling processes. Katie specializes in the rapidly growing life science and high intellectual capital workplaces sector, with a focus on value-add investments.
Prior to Davis, Katie worked as a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in a real estate valuation and advisory role serving REITs and real estate private equity clients with a variety of property types, both domestic and internationally located. Katie passed Levels I and II of the CFA program in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
Katie graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bentley University with a Bachelor’s in Finance and a minor in Actuarial Science, where she was also a member of the Varsity Field Hockey Team.
Additionally, Katie is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma (The International Business Honor Society).
As Vice President, Asset Management, Matthew is responsible for developing and implementing leasing and asset management strategies within Davis’ office, medical, industrial, multifamily and self-storage portfolios.
Matthew joined the firm in 2008 working in Acquisitions before transitioning to Asset Management in 2012. Prior to joining Davis, Matthew spent 7 years in the commercial real estate industry, working in pension fund advisory, investment sales, and research. Matthew received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University.
Sean is responsible as a Vice President in the Asset Management department for developing, evaluating, and implementing business plans of individual assets. He works collaboratively with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Development and Accounting groups on diverse asset types across various markets.
Sean joined Davis in 2012 and has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate including spending five years in the Boston office of Jones Lange LaSalle as an Associate in the Capital Markets Group. Sean began his career at Axiom Capital, a mortgage brokerage firm in Albany, NY, as the director of their underwriting department.
Sean graduated with a B.S from the Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
As Senior Vice President, Asset Management, David is responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate investments and implementing strategic business plans to maximize asset values. David has over 20 years experience in asset management, leasing, marketing, and operations of commercial properties.
Prior to his current role at Davis, David was with CBRE, Inc. in New York City handling leasing transactions on behalf of both tenants and landlords. David holds a B.S. in Economics from Syracuse University. David is a member of the NAIOP and previously served as the president of the Connecticut/Suburban New York chapter. David is a past board member of Real Estate Finance Association-Fairfield Connecticut chapter as well.
As Senior Vice President of Asset Management, Kate shares the responsibility of managing the end-to-end process of investments activity made on behalf of the company’s value-add funds, including deal sourcing, purchase and sale negotiations, joint venture opportunity assessment, and ongoing portfolio monitoring. Kate also has an active role in maintaining stakeholder relationships by ensuring the proper valuation, reporting, and integrity of each of the firm’s active funds.
Prior to joining Davis in 2016, Kate worked as an Associate for Spear Street Capital, based out of New York, NY. In her previous role with Spear Street Capital, she led several multi-million-dollar capital improvement programs, participated in lease negotiations and underwrote new deals across the U.S. and Canada, and oversaw the dispositioning and sale negotiation process of a wide array of asset classes across several markets.
Kate’s further background experience includes investments, financial analyst, and architecture roles with Beacon Capital Partners, Columbia National Real Finance, and Perkins & Will Architecture & Planning. She received her MBA from Columbia, with a Real Estate Concentration and received her BA from University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Architecture.
As Senior Vice President, Asset Management, Jon Needham is responsible for expanding Davis’ existing Science & Technology investment business by formulating and implementing best practices that allow for scalability in capital deployment and asset management. From initial acquisition to eventual disposition, Jon plays a key role in overseeing investment performance through implementation of strategic business plans that seek to maximize asset values and returns.
Jon comes to Davis from BentallGreenOak (“BGO”), where he held various leadership roles and was named Vice President, Asset Management in January 2022 with a focus on US & Global Life Science. During his 6-year tenure at BGO, he led the development and execution of the US and Global Life Science Vertical helping to grow the vertical to over $4B of AUM with assets across the US and UK. Investments under the BGO Life Science Vertical spanned the risk spectrum from ground-up development, heavy adaptive reuse/conversion, and existing buildings with leasing exposure. In addition to Life Science, Jon also played a key role leading the US Healthcare and Boston Office Strategies. Jon has a deep background in multi-market acquisition origination, debt restructuring, and asset management of Industrial and Retail assets.
Jon holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from Duke University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. Jon is a member of NAIOP, ULI, and Duke Boston.
As Senior Vice President, Asset Management, Mai Zhang is responsible for expanding Davis’ existing multifamily investment business by formulating and implementing best practices that allow for scalability in capital deployment and asset management. From initial acquisition to eventual disposition, Mai plays a key role in overseeing investment performance through implementation of strategic business plans that seek to maximize asset values and returns.
Mai comes to The Davis Companies from JBG SMITH Properties, where he held various leadership roles and was named Senior Vice President of Residential Asset Management in January 2022. During his 10-year tenure at JBG SMITH Properties, he led the development and execution of the operating strategy for approximately 6,500 residential units under management throughout the DC metro region, led value-add investment initiatives that generated $4.7 million of additional net income and increased portfolio asset value by $89.0 million, and led major capital transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings that amounted to over $4.4 billion of real estate. He also served as the chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee and was a member of the Risk Management Committee.
Mai holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University and is a CFA Charterholder.
As Senior Vice President and Director of Leasing, Duncan is responsible for developing and implementing leasing and asset management strategies for the firm.
Duncan has 29+ years of experience in the management, marketing and leasing of commercial real estate. Prior to assuming his current position as Senior Vice President with Davis in 1999, Duncan was Vice President and General Manager of Merchandise Mart Properties, a division of Vornado Realty Trust. Prior to the acquisition by Vornado, he was President of the Boston Design Center for a TDC-affiliated company. Formerly, Duncan was President of the Washington Design Center & Office Center, VP of Sales & Marketing for furniture manufacturer Doxey Furniture in North Carolina and previously Assistant Treasurer for Bankers Trust Company in New York City. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from Washington College, Maryland.
Mr. Gilkey is a member of NAIOP and is a member of a National NAIOP Forum, and also a member of CoreNet Global.
As Chief Portfolio Management Officer, Cappy is responsible for helping the team identify, assess, and strategically pursue new opportunities while also focusing on maximizing value within Davis’s real estate portfolio. In addition to being responsible for investment performance, Cappy also manages the firm’s dispositions, which represent over $6.5B in gross sales price since the inception of the fund business. Cappy is an active member of the Investment and Executive Committees. Prior to joining Davis, Cappy was a Managing Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly a partner at Spaulding & Slye), leading the company’s Boston Capital Markets Group.
Over her 35-year career, Cappy has been active in a variety of industry associations including NAIOP, CREW, ULI, REFA, PREA and GRBREB. In 2021, Cappy was recognized as one of 10 Outstanding Women Leaders by Boston Real Estate Times and was selected as a panelist for the Connect 2022 CRE Women’s Outlook Webinar, which is available at this link. Cappy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Outside of real estate, Cappy enjoys biking, hiking, skiing and playing pickle ball with her husband, Sam, and their two children, Carter and Ben.
This team plays an integral role in creating and overseeing the firm’s business plans for ground-up development and substantial redevelopment projects, and is responsible for advising on potential acquisitions while overseeing concept and design development, including permitting, financing, and construction processes.
Trey serves as Development Manager at The Davis Companies, where he supports the firm’s Science & Technology and Industrial verticals. In this role, Trey is involved in all aspects of the development process — from site acquisition and feasibility analysis to design, entitlements, financing, construction management, and leasing. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, he helps drive the firm’s ground-up development, redevelopment, and capital improvement projects.
Trey brings over 9 years of extensive experience in real estate development through roles in both ground-up development and construction management. As a Development Manager at Lendlease, he managed more than $500 million in ground-up development in Boston, MA and helped deliver FORUM, a LEED Platinum-rated R&D building in the Boston Landing neighborhood.
Trey holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College. Trey is certified as LEED AP, BD+C and is an active member of REFA and ULI New England.
As Senior Construction Manager in the development group at Davis, Emery is responsible for coordinating the onsite day-to-day construction activities between the owner, architect, contractor, and other stakeholders, as well as other internal members of the Davis team. Emery is a ‘boots on the ground’ presence at project sites and oversees the project from initial construction start through punch list and project closeout.
Emery joined Davis in 2013 and has completed projects across all asset classes including laboratory, office, commercial, and multifamily residential. He has worked on complex phased occupied renovations as well as new out of the ground construction projects. Some of Emery’s recent projects include the completion of The Mark and DeNormandie Wharf in East Boston. Prior to the Mark, Emery oversaw the construction of 35 Cambridge Park Drive in Cambridge, MA. Prior to joining the Davis Companies, Emery worked as a project Superintendent at Shawmut Design and Construction and completed projects in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, and Las Vegas.
Emery hold a bachelors of science in Construction Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is a member of industry groups such as the Institute of Concrete Repair (ICRI) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
Wo serves as a Construction Manager – Multifamily at Davis, where he oversees multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. His responsibilities span scheduling, subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, cost management, and project closeout. Wo also collaborates closely with design teams, manages general contractors, and cultivates strong relationships with key project stakeholders.
With over 20 years of experience in construction management, Wo has overseen large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across the Northeast. His leadership roles at Cranshaw Construction, Bovis Lend Lease, Greystar, and Millcreek Residential highlight his expertise in project execution, team development, and risk management.
Wo holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and is OSHA 10 certified.
As a Senior Project Manager – Development, Sloan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day development of projects across the Boston Market in the Life Science and Multi-Family disciplines. This includes activities involving project acquisition, financing, entitlements, construction, and management activities.
Sloan’s experience has spanned multiple product types through many phases of the development process. Notable projects include The Mark (East Boston, 107 unit condominium project), 1515 Commonwealth Ave (253 Unit, Rental/Condominium Building), Boston Market Terminal (250,000 square foot of industrial distribution space). Prior to joining Davis, Sloan was a Project Manager for Studio Troika Architects focused on ground up development.
Sloan holds a Masters of Architecture (M.Arch II) degree from the University of Miami (Miami, FL) with a concentration in Real Estate Development and New Urbanism as well as a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS) with a concentration in Construction Management from Roger Williams University (Bristol, RI). Sloan is also an active member of NAIOP and ULI NE.
As Assistant Vice President of Development, Darren is responsible for managing site acquisition and development efforts on the firm’s ground-up and redevelopment projects. Darren has experience across a variety of asset classes, including Residential, Retail, Office and Industrial with involvement in the underwriting, financing, construction, leasing, and disposition of assets.
Darren brings more than 12 years of experience across investment underwriting, leasing and construction management to The Davis Companies and has delivered over 1.8 million sf of building area totaling approximately $420MM during his career. He most recently served as Project Manager at Cranshaw Construction, driving overall project management operations. Notable project history includes the Miscela ($186M. 24-story, 657,000 SF) and Puma Building ($96M. 14-story, 614,500 SF) at Assembly Row in Somerville.
Darren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies with a Minor in Entrepreneurial Business Management from Tufts University.
As Vice President of Development, Ben is responsible for managing development efforts across a variety of asset classes, with involvement in the acquisition, design development, permitting, financing, construction, and leasing of projects. Notable projects include the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport (a 1,054-room luxury hotel, with over 100,000 SF of meeting/banquet space, 7 Food/Beverage outlets, and full-service spa), Upton Drive (a 215,000 SF industrial development in Wilmington, MA), Riverneck Road (a 250,000 SF industrial development in Chelmsford, MA), and Boston Market Terminal (a 225,000 SF distribution facility in Everett, MA).
Prior to joining Davis, Ben worked at John Moriarty & Associates as a project engineer on the Van Ness (a 700,000 SF mixed-use development in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood) and as a pre-construction manager, with notable projects including 321 Harrison (a new 260,000 SF office built over an existing garage in Boston’s South End neighborhood) and 165 Main Street (a 300-unit residential development in Cambridge’s Kendall Square). Ben began his career as a design assistant at William Rawn Associates.
Ben holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) degree from MIT and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University. Ben is certified as LEED AP, BD+C and is a member of NAIOP.
As Senior Vice President of Construction for Davis, DiMuzio directs all facets of Davis’ construction activities, including pre-development budgeting, construction management and design administration for ground-up construction projects and substantial building re-positioning plans. As SVP of Construction, DiMuzio will play an integral role in guiding the in-house investment and asset management teams on cost and constructability logistics for all new projects.
DiMuzio brings more than 30 years of experience in construction management to Davis and has delivered over 11 million sf of building area during his career. He most recently served as Vice President of Construction at GID Development in New York, driving overall project management and construction operations. In this role, he led the Waterline Square Project, which consisted of three residential high-rise buildings in New York representing 2.1 million SF and $2.26 billion in total investment cost.
DiMuzio holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Business Management from the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
In her role as Senior Vice President, Construction, Gretchen is responsible for managing construction projects to ensure that they are executed within Davis’ guidelines; negotiating terms of agreements, drafting contracts and obtaining permits and licenses; estimating costs and scheduling deliverables; overseeing all on site and off site construction to monitor compliance with building, safety and environmental regulations; and collaborating with architects, engineers and other construction specialists to ensure timely delivery of projects.
With over 20 years’ experience working for such notable firms as Trammell Crow Company (Vice President) and Boston Properties (Senior Construction Manager), Gretchen has been involved in every facet of development and construction management. Prior to joining Davis, she held the position of Senior Program Manager at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA, where she was responsible for managing permitting, environment and infrastructure planning, and pre-construction for a $360 Million semi-conductor laboratory and micro-integration facility.
Gretchen holds a Master Degree in Emergency Management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Economics from Boston University. She also holds Certificates in Real Estate Finance and Development from MIT, Building and Construction Technology from Northeastern University and Environment Management from Bentley College.
In addition, Gretchen is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a Massachusetts construction supervisor’s license. She is a member of CREW Boston. Gretchen is also a Board Member of All Hands & Hearts Smart Response, Inc.
As Senior Vice President of Development, Jason is responsible for managing development efforts on some of the firm’s most complex ground-up and redevelopment projects. Jason’s has experience across a variety of asset classes, including Lab/Life-Science, Residential, and Hospitality with involvement in the acquisition, concept and design development, permitting, financing, construction, leasing, and disposition phases of projects. Notable projects include the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport (a 1,054 room luxury hotel, with over 100,000 square feet of meeting/banquet space, 7 Food/Beverage outlets, and a full-service spa), The Alewife Research Center, and Charles Park (collectively over 600,000 square feet of life-science development/redevelopment in Cambridge, MA). Prior to joining Davis, Jason was a senior engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, focused on building enclosure design & forensic engineering.
Jason holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) degree from MIT, and both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Jason is also a member of ULI and NAIOP.
As Managing Director and Head of Residential Development, Stephen is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day development efforts for residential/mixed-use projects nationally with involvement in acquisition, finance, construction, and management activities.
Stephen’s experience has been interdisciplinary with contributions to several complex and high-profile projects across a wide variety of asset types. Prior to joining the firm, Stephen worked at the Related Companies across the development platform with involvement in a multitude of ground-up new development, fund investment re-development, asset management, acquisitions, and design/construction oversight efforts in both New York and Boston. Prior to Related Companies, Stephen worked as a Project Architect/Team Lead at Rafael Viñoly Architects on projects including 432 Park Avenue in New York and Marble Arch Park in London. Prior to RVA, Stephen worked with the Mitchell Architectural Group on various professional/academic research, healthcare, and advanced technology projects across New England and internationally.
Stephen holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He has lectured and served as a design critic at various universities, is a licensed architect in multiple states with NCARB accreditation, and a private pilot.
As Chief Development Officer, Michael leads Davis’s Development team which manages all aspects of ground-up development and redevelopment projects from initial conception through entitlement, design, construction, marketing and lease up. He serves as a member of the firm’s Executive and Investment Committees.
Michael began his career and spent more than three decades at Boston Properties (NYSE: BXP), where he ascended to the role of Senior Vice President of Development and was responsible for new development throughout the Boston regional office territory as well as select developments across the country.
During his tenure at Boston Properties, Michael and his team delivered over 15 million square feet of office, laboratory, residential, retail, hotel and related uses. Notable projects include The Hub on Causeway, a 1.5 million square foot mixed-use project on the site of the former Boston Garden arena at North Station in Boston; Salesforce Tower, a 1.4 million SF first class office tower in San Francisco; Kendall Center, a 5 million SF mixed use project in Cambridge, MA; and Atlantic Wharf, a 860,000 SF mixed use project in Boston.
Michael is former Chairman and current board member of A Better City and is Vice Chairman and Trustee of Malden Catholic High School, his high school alma mater. He has presented at numerous conferences and seminars for industry groups including NAIOP, ULI, ICSC, Massachusetts Building Congress and Build Boston.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Tufts University and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
Our Financial Operations team is responsible for maintaining and strengthening the firm’s financial health, which includes investment oversight and all activities relating to capital markets, debt placement, accounting, tax, budgeting, treasury, and implementing all financial and risk management strategies.
Athena joined Davis in June 2022 as an associate in the corporate accounting department. Her main responsibilities include managing Concur Expense Report, corporate bill back, and corporate receivables process. She is also responsible for reconciling credit card charges and bank reconciliation.
Prior to joining Davis, Athena worked as a Sr. Accountant at Mass Insight Education and Research where she was responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and account reconciliations for month-end and fiscal year end closing. Before joining Mass Insight Education and Research, Athena worked as a General Accountant at Oxfam America, Inc.
Athena holds a BS in Management-concentration Accounting from UMass Boston and an Associate in Science-concentration Accounting from Bunker Hill Community College.
Kieu jointed Davis in 2013 as an Account Payables associate and currently serves as a Sr. Corporate Accounting Associate. Kieu is responsible for all mortgage payables, including setting up wires and transfers, as well as shares the responsibility for all Corporate AP, Development AP, Invesco AP, and MRI AP activities. She is also responsible for setting up all new vendors and maintain accurate record of all W-9 information.
Prior to joining Davis, Kieu worked 7 years at Trinity Management as a Junior Accountant where she handled account receivables and account payables, including review of all bank accounts to monitor cash balances and make transfers when over/under-funded. She also participated in years-end audit preparation.
Kieu graduated from University of Massachusetts Boston with a Bachelors of Science in Finance.
Christine joined Davis in 2021 as an associate in the corporate accounting department. Her main responsibilities include receiving and posting monthly tenant payments, updating a managed AR tracker, tracking and collecting outstanding charges which includes working closely with the Property Management team. Preparing monthly rent and utility invoices and assisting accounting with month end account and MRI reconciliations by answering AR related questions and processing adjustments as needed.
Prior to joining Davis, Christine work as a staff accountant/AR coordinator at Draper where she was responsible for day-to-day accounts receivable processes, banking transactions as well as month end general ledger analysis and account reconciliations and year end closing procedures. As a long-term employee, she gained experience in different areas of the accounting department.
Christine has an Associate of Science Degree in Biotechnology from Bunker Hill Community College in Boston.
Shelby joined Davis in December of 2022 as a Senior Development Accountant. She is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and annual tax compliance for development projects.Prior to joining Davis, Shelby worked as a Senior Auditor at Gray, Gray, & Gray, LLP. She has a wide array of audit and accounting experience for private entities dealing with senior living facilities, architecture and engineering firms, manufacturing and more.
Shelby received a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Bentley University. Shelby also holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from Sacred Heart University.
Kevin joined Davis in June 2014 in the Accounts Receivable Department, where he oversaw the billing and collections of Tenant Rents. In November 2021 was promoted to Senior Portfolio Accountant. In this role. he is responsible for the day-to-day accounting activity at our Commercial Properties; this includes budgeting and forecasting, loan and equity funding requests & reporting, tenant reconciliations & month-end accounting close.
Prior to joining Davis, Kevin worked at EMD Chemicals in the AR Department handling reconciling of cash, cash entries & collections. Kevin has also worked at Parexel International as a Billing Specialist & in the Lynn Public Schools as a Substitute Teacher.
Kevin graduated from Quinnipiac University, Lender School of Business in 2008 with a degree in International Business & a minor in European Studies. Currently attending SNHU, via online, to obtain his MBA with a concentration in Accounting.
Jessica joined Davis as a Senior Fund Accountant in February 2025. She is responsible for fund financial reporting and the day-to-day operations of the fund accounting department.
Prior to joining Davis, Jessica worked as the Manager of Joint Venture and Debt Compliance at Sonesta International Hotels. In addition, she worked at EY as an auditor, and has held several other key roles in accounting throughout her career.
Jessica holds a Master of Science in Accounting from UMass Amherst and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Richie is a Senior Development Accountant. He joined Davis in 2025, and his area of focus is day-to-day accounting activities for development projects.
Prior to joining Davis, Richie worked as a Senior Tax Accountant at PwC LLP within the real estate group. There he provided various tax compliances and other accounting services, such as reviewing financial packages for a variety of different clients.
Richie received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Professional Accountancy from Bryant University. He is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts.
Tim joined Davis as a Senior Portfolio Accountant in January 2024. He is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of various operating assets within the Davis portfolio.
Prior to joining Davis, Tim worked as a Senior Property Accountant at Intercontinental Management Companies and the RMR Group. His experience has allowed him to be well versed within commercial real estate financial operations including the sectors of office, industrial, and retail plazas.
Tim holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Bridgewater State University.
Ryan serves as a Senior Portfolio Accountant, joining the firm in 2022. He is responsible for the Firm’s day-to-day accounting operations for Cabot, Waltham, Quad, and Bridge Street assets.
Prior to joining Davis, Ryan’s career was spent at Boston Properties in a Senior Property Accountant role with the responsibility of analyzing all financial matters related to his portfolio. Ryan also worked as a Senior Accountant at Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Ryan is a graduate of Suffolk University with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accounting.
Michael joined Davis as an Assistant Portfolio Controller in 2019. In 2023, Michael was promoted to Manager of Financial Reporting. In this newly-created role, he is primarily responsible for supporting the Debt and Capital Markets team and the Fund Accounting team, with a special focus on various portfolio management reporting systems.
Michael’s career has mainly focused on real estate accounting and financial reporting. Prior to joining Davis, he was an Assistant Vice President at Eaton Vance overseeing the monthly accounting and reporting for a large portfolio of multifamily properties. Additionally, he gained extensive experience in Fund Financial Reporting, including SEC reporting, at Eaton Vance and elsewhere.
Michael is a graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts.
Lauren joined Davis in 2017 and currently serves as Portfolio Accounting Manager. She is responsible for the day-to-day accounting operations and annual tax compliance for the commercial property level entities. This includes budgeting and forecasting, loan and equity funding requests, joint venture oversight, and accounting issues related to the acquisition and disposition of the Firm’s investments.
Prior to joining Davis, Lauren worked at Boston Realty Advisors, TA Realty, and Pyramid Hotel Group in Senior Accounting roles.
Lauren graduated cum laude from Syracuse University’s Martin J Whitman School of Management with dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Accountancy from University of Massachusetts Boston and obtained a Certified Professional in Commercial Real Estate Certificate from NAIOP Massachusetts.
Elizabeth joined Davis in 2016 and currently serves as Fund Accounting Manager. She is responsible for fund financial reporting, annual audits, tax compliance and the day-to-day operations of the fund accounting department.
Prior to joining Davis, Elizabeth worked at Hines Interests Limited Partnership as a project accountant and First Winthrop Corporation as a financial reporting analyst. In addition, she worked at RSM as an auditor.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Boston College. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mitch joined Davis in 2018 and currently serves as corporate accounting manager. He is responsible for accounting operations and monthly financial reporting relating to corporate and operating companies. This includes cash management, payment processing, and expense tracking.
Prior to joining Davis, Mitch worked as a staff accountant at Rent-A-Tool where he was responsible for day-to-day accounting activities as well as month and year- end closing procedures.
Mitch holds both a Master of Business Administration and A Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Fitchburg State University.
Bill serves as an Assistant Portfolio Controller. Bill joined the firm in 2013. He is responsible for the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and annual tax compliance for all internally managed, commercial operating assets. Bill manages some of the members of the portfolio accounting team that also oversee the evaluation of accounting and operational issues related to the acquisition and disposition of the Firm’s managed investments. Bill is also a member of the environmental subcommittee of the Firm’s ESG committee.
Prior to joining Davis, Bill’s career was mostly spent at a local, regional public accounting firm. There, he provided various tax compliance, tax advisory, assurance and other accounting services to a diverse client base.
Bill is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration. He is a licensed CPA in Massachusetts.
Dan joined Davis in 2012 and is currently the Assistant Development Controller. He is responsible for day to day accounting operations and overseeing the Development Accounting team. This includes loan and equity requests, cost tracking, JV oversight and financial reporting
Prior to joining Davis, Dan spent 7 Years at A.W.Perry as a staff accountant. He was responsible for billing and posting tenant receipts and for the monthly financial reporting of the properties.
Dan graduated from Bentley College with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with a minor in Information Technology.
Lauren joined Davis in 2013 and is currently the Assistant Portfolio Controller overseeing our Affordable and Residential Portfolio. She is responsible for day to day accounting operations, financial reporting, loan and equity funding requests, joint venture oversight and annual tax compliance for all residential property level entities.
Since joining Davis, Lauren has been actively involved with the companies’ charitable initiates, spearheading the annual in house United Way auction and organized multiple Up and Out programs benefiting Heading Home.
Prior to joining Davis, Lauren worked for Brixmor Property Group and Samuels & Associates as a Property Accountant; overseeing monthly financial reporting for a variety of commercial and residential assets.
Lauren graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance/Insurance and Entrepreneurship.
Judy serves as the Firm’s Corporate Controller. Judy joined the Firm in 2011. She is responsible for all the financial reporting and internal controls related to the Corporate/ Operating Companies. This includes budgeting and forecasting, treasury management, benefits reporting, accounts payable and receivables management, financial systems implementations and corporate valuations. Judy is also responsible for Corporate Reporting SEC compliance.
Since joining Davis, Judy has been involved in the implementation of accounting, budgeting and expenses management systems. She was also instrumental in the conversion of several of the Firm’s vendors and investors to EFT payments.
Prior to joining Davis, Judy worked with Lincoln Property Company where she worked in the Property Management Group.
Judy holds a Bachelor Degree in Business from Saint Anselm College.
Kelly serves as the Firm’s Fund Controller. Kelly joined the Firm in 2013. She is responsible for fund financial reporting, annual audits, tax compliance and supports the investor relations reporting. Kelly has been involved in the implementation of the investment management accounting improvements for the Firm. Prior to joining Davis, Kelly worked at GMO Renewable Resources in fund accounting and Trinity Management in property accounting. In addition, she worked at RSM as an auditor and provided tax services within the Real Estate Group. Kelly holds a Master’s of Science in Accounting from Eastern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Patrick joined Davis in 2015 and currently serves as Development Controller and Director of Risk Management. He is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, accounting operations and audit/tax compliance for our portfolio of development assets. As Director of Risk Management, Patrick is responsible for our insurance program including coverage placement for all lines of insurance, managing relationships with brokers, consultants and internal stakeholders, and providing guidance for our investment portfolio.
Prior to joining Davis, Patrick spent 7 years in public accounting providing audit and tax services to clients focused on affordable housing. His clients included low-income housing tax credit partnerships, non-profit organizations, national tax credit syndicators and Public Housing Authorities.
Patrick graduated from Saint Michael’s College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in both Accounting and Finance.
Stephen is an Assistant Vice President on the Debt Capital Markets team at Davis, where he supports the structuring, sourcing, and execution of real estate financings across asset classes and geographies. He is actively involved in acquisition, construction, and permanent loan financings, as well as portfolio-wide covenant compliance and credit asset monitoring on behalf of Davis’s value-add equity and credit funds.
Stephen brings a strong background in commercial real estate lending, with experience originating more than $200 million in loans and leading complex financing executions. Prior to joining Davis, he served as a Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager at Berkshire Bank, where he led loan originations, managed syndications, and oversaw construction financing across a range of asset classes. Earlier, as an AVP and Portfolio Manager, he managed a $1.5 billion CRE loan portfolio, focusing on underwriting, credit performance, and proactive risk mitigation. His experience as a lender provides him with a deep understanding of credit structuring and lender decision-making, which he leverages in his role advising on and executing financings at Davis.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Assumption University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a four-year Division II ice hockey student-athlete. He is an active member of the Real Estate Finance Association (REFA) and participates in industry events and networking initiatives across the Boston real estate community.
In his role, Michael is responsible for sourcing, closing, and managing project level debt financings for Davis’ commercial real estate portfolio. He is also tasked with managing the sourcing, underwriting, structuring, and presentation to Investment Committee of credit investment opportunities for the firm.
Prior to joining Davis, Michael was employed in various roles throughout the commercial real estate industry including property management, valuations, and investing. Most recently, Michael was a member of Fidelity Investment’s Real Estate Debt team where he worked for 7 years ascending to the role of Director. In his role at Fidelity, Michael oversaw the origination, underwriting, and asset management of various investments including CMBS securities, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity investments on behalf of institutional clients. Prior to his time at Fidelity, Michael was an Analyst at Keystone Consulting Group, a valuations and advisory services firm in the northeast region.
Michael graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management. During his time at NYU, Michael was a recipient of the New York University Founder’s Day Award. Michael is also a CFA® charterholder.
Michael is actively involved in the regional real estate community and is a member of NAIOP MA, the Real Estate Finance Association, and the Real Estate Committee of Heading Home. In 2022, Michael was a recipient of the NAIOP MA President’s Award.
Christine joined Davis in 2013 and currently serves as Vice President & Portfolio Controller. She is responsible for the day to day accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and annual tax compliance for all operating and development property level entities. Christine manages the portfolio accounting team that also oversees the evaluation of accounting/operational issues related to acquisition and disposition of the Firm’s investments.
Prior to joining Davis, Christine was an Assistant Vice President at Eaton Vance overseeing the monthly accounting and reporting for approximately $1.1 billion in real estate investments which consisted of office, industrial, and residential asset classes. Christine also gained valuable real estate specific accounting, reporting, and taxation knowledge in the public accounting industry for five years. Her twenty-year career has been mainly focused on real estate accounting, reporting, and taxation.
Christine is a graduate of Salem State University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Concentration in Accounting.
Aneta serves as the Firm’s Chief Accounting Officer. Aneta joined the Firm in 2010. She is responsible for financial reporting, annual audits, tax compliance, and SEC compliance. Aneta also oversees the back-office operations with regards to investor reporting and forecasting. During her tenure with Davis, she managed several projects that leverage technology in investment management, investor and portfolio reporting. Aneta leads finance team’s initiatives that are focused on streamlining and enhancing investment analytics, performance measurement, and portfolio reporting,
Prior to joining Davis, Aneta worked at The RMR Group, Inc., a public real estate investment firm where she was responsible for various financial reporting and public company reporting functions.
Aneta holds an undergraduate degree from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland and a Master’s in Accountancy from Bentley University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
As Chief Financial Officer, Josh is responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial operations, including finance, accounting, tax, budgeting, treasury, and insurance, as well as implementing all financial strategies. Josh has over 22 years of diversified real estate experience, including private equity investment and banking. Prior to joining Davis, Josh spent seven years at Realty Financial Partners, a Boston-based manager of real estate opportunity funds. Employed most recently as Director of Portfolio and Asset Management, Josh was responsible for finance, accounting and investor relations for the firm’s closed-end funds and separate accounts.
Between his two engagements at Realty Financial Partners, Josh spent 5 years in commercial banking with Admirals Bank and Northeast Bank as a Senior Vice President. In these roles, he was involved in sourcing and underwriting more than $1 billion of commercial real estate loan originations and acquisitions throughout the United States. Josh began his career at Massey Knakal Realty (now Cushman & Wakefield) in New York City.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School at New York University.
The Investor Relations team is responsible for raising capital for the firm’s real estate investment funds and for servicing Davis’ network of more than 1,000 individual and institutional investors.
Mia joined Davis in 2025 and currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Investor Relations. Mia’s core responsibilities include preparing key investor communications, managing the investor CRM system, and coordinating investor events. In addition, Mia assists with fundraising activities and handles investor inquiries in collaboration with multiple departments.
Prior to joining Davis, Mia began her commercial real estate career at AEW Capital Management in the Investor Relations department.
Mia graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Scranton.
As Managing Director, Equity Capital Markets & Investor Relations, Steve brings over 35 years of institutional commercial real estate industry experience to his position. Steve leads equity capital raising for all company investment and development initiatives. He oversees the Investor Relations team and has primary responsibility for all investor communications, as well as managing, maintaining and expanding Davis’s investor, consultant and distribution relationships. Since joining Davis in early-2017, Steve has proactively raised more than $2.5BN in equity capital, including raising $977.1MM for Davis Investment Ventures Fund V, $777.5MM for Davis Investment Ventures Fund IV and approximately $340MM in co-investment equity capital for Funds III, IV and V.
Prior to joining Davis, Steve was a Portfolio manager at Bentall Kennedy in Boston, where he was responsible for portfolio management, sourcing new opportunities, and researching investment opportunities. While at Bentall Kennedy, Steve was also the key U.S. point person for the C$560MM sale of Bentall Kennedy to Sun Life. Steve led private real estate investment at Cohen & Steers, where he functioned as the Chief Investment Officer for Global Realty Partners. Steve was a Managing Director at Citigroup Property Investors (CPI), where he was CPI’s Chief Investment Strategist, heading all global research and investment strategy decisions and was also the founder and portfolio manager of Citigroup Real Estate Partners.
Steve previously served as Co-Chair of PREA’s Capital Markets Affinity Group and was a past Chairman of ULI’s IOPC Blue Council. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, the Pension Real Estate Association’s Research Committee, Real Estate Research Institute’s Advisory Board, and The Institutional Real Estate Letter’s Editorial Board.
Steve received a B.A. in Economics and German from Hampden-Sydney College, and an M.A. in Economic Policy from Boston University.

Ana joined Davis in January, 2022. She serves as Compliance Associate and Lease/Legal Administrator.
Prior to joining Davis, Ana worked as an executive assistant for a real estate law firm in Providence, Rhode Island.
Ana received a certificate in Paralegal Studies from the PJA Paralegal School in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. She is currently enrolled in the Human Resources degree program with Southern New Hampshire University.
Robert is responsible for the title, survey and due-diligence review for all of the Davis property acquisitions, joint ventures, financings and development. In addition, Robert manages the organization and compliance requirements for all of the Davis property owning and fund controlling entities.
Prior to joining the Davis legal group in 2018, Robert spent over twenty years with large New York and Boston law firms, including Jones Day Reavis and Pogue, LLP, Seward and Kissel, LLP and DLA Piper LLP (US), representing lender’s, developer’s, pension funds and property trusts in commercial transactional real estate throughout the United States.
Robert holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Long Island University, C.W. Post College (New York) and additional accreditations from Adelphi University (New York).
Melissa Moran is Associate Counsel at Davis and is responsible for legal matters relating to acquisition, disposition, financing, and asset management, among other legal matters. Earlier in her career, Melissa worked as an associate in the Corporate Department of Ropes & Gray LLP. Her practice focused on representing borrowers in finance transactions, including acquisition finance, term and cash flow loans, and public and private note offerings. Melissa also has experience with private funds, including fund formation and review. Melissa earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, where she also served as the Associate Executive Editor of the Suffolk University Law Review. Melissa holds a B.A. in Government and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Colby College.
As a Vice President for Davis, Jessica Powell advises Davis on a variety of matters, including development, acquisitions, asset management, and compliance. Prior to Davis, Jessica was an attorney in the Real Estate Department of Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP. Presently, Jessica is a member of the Boston Bar Association’s Public Interest Leadership Program ’19-’20 Class. She has dedicated a significant amount of time to pro bono projects, including representation of a U.S. Army Veteran before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, for which she was recognized with a Civil Rights Pro Bono Recognition Award from the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Economic Justice. Jessica served on the Real Estate Bar Association’s planning committee for its annual fundraiser for Women’s Lunch Place and as a co-captain of Nutter’s Associates Fund Drive for Greater Boston Legal Services for several years. After the birth of her son, Jessica donated several thousand ounces of milk to Mothers’ Milk Bank Northeast, a nonprofit community milk bank that provides donated human milk to babies in fragile health throughout the Northeast. Jessica received her J.D., magna cum laude, from New England School of Law and her B.A. in Economics from Tufts University. During law school, she clerked with the Honorable Robert B. Collings at the U.S. District Court of Massachusetts and Commissioner Frank J. Scharaffa at the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board.
Colin is a senior attorney in Davis’ legal group and also directs the firm’s responsible investing program. He negotiates and manages acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, leases and management agreements across all major asset classes. Colin began his legal career in large real estate departments in New York and Boston, joining Davis’ legal group in 2015. He holds a B.S. in natural resources science from Cornell University, a M.A. in environmental policy from Brown University Graduate School, and a J.D. cum laude from Cornell Law School. Prior to law school, Colin worked in environmental policy consulting. He manages legal environmental risk across Davis’ portfolio.
As Davis’s Managing Director, General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer, Rob leads the legal and compliance teams and is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all legal services to the firm and its affiliates, as well as overseeing the firm’s compliance function. He also serves on the Executive and Investment Committees. Rob’s legal responsibilities include advising the firm on transactional, employment, regulatory, and corporate matters. Rob’s role as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer is performed in accordance with the requirements of the Investment Advisers Act, under the purview of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Prior to joining Davis, Rob was a real estate attorney at Bingham McCutchen, a full-service international law firm. Rob is a council member for the Boston Bar Association, serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Counsel of the URI College of Business and is a Director of the Needham Land Trust.
Rob received his JD from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Villanova Law Review, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Rhode Island majoring in International Business.
Our Property Management team works collaboratively with our Asset Management and Development groups to execute on strategic business plans, and also works with tenants to provide a built environments that are both inspiring and functional for their employees.
Mynor current serves as Maintenance Technician at Davis and is responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in performing preventive maintenance on various systems including life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. In addition, he is responsible for servicing building work orders and managing strong vendor relationships.
Prior to Davis, Mynor held various property management positions at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care where he was able to gain extensive experience that he leverages in his current role.
Mynor holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Business from Eastern Nazarene College.
As a Maintenance Technician for Davis, Josh assists the Senior Maintenance Tech and shares responsibilities with the operations of Charles River Plaza. His day-to-day responsibilities include life safety, HVAC maintenance, servicing building work orders, and vendor management amongst many other on-site activities.
Josh joined Davis in 2022 but has been working alongside The Davis Companies for the past 11 years as a janitorial contractor and is familiar with the environment and daily operations of each property in addition to maintaining close relationship with building tenants.
Buzz assists the lead engineer with the daily operation of The Union Trust Building. Daily operations encompass responding to tenant work requests, maintenance of all building equipment, running a state-of-the-art high efficiency steam boiler and chiller plant, green building operation, operating the Tridium Niagara BAS system, coordination with ongoing construction projects, and coordinate with property managers.
Over the past 26 years he has acquired many licenses and certifications, some of which are Master Plumber License, HVAC Technician License, EPA Lead Certification, Class 2 Power Engineer License, Green Building Operator Certification, CAD Certification, and OSHA 30. He is a member of Pittsburgh Green Building Alliance and is currently studying for his Business Management Degree at Community College of Allegheny County.
As a Stationary Engineer for The Union Trust Building, Richard’s responsibilities include maintaining the boiler plant, the chiller plant, and other building equipment to support the building’s day-to-day operations. Richard also performs PMs and assist with tenant requests and other projects as needed.
Richard has 20+ years of experience in engineering and maintenance technician roles. He holds a Pittsburgh Stationary Power Engineer License and a 3rd Class Engineer License from the Pennsylvania State Association of the National Association of Power Engineers. In his free time Richard likes to play darts and bowling. He also shoots pool and loves most sports with boxing being his favorite. Richard also enjoys spending time with his daughter and his grandson.
Noel has been a member of the Davis team since 2009 and currently serves as Chief Engineer at Charles River Plaza. He oversees the maintenance and operation of all HVAC and mechanical systems, building management systems, and life safety protocols. He collaborates closely with Massachusetts General Hospital Engineering and plays a key role in the development, management and operations of the site.
With over 40 years of experience, Noel has built a strong expertise in hospital operations. Prior to joining Davis, he served as the Chief Engineer at Beverly Hospital, and Lead HVAC Mechanic at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Noel attended The Peterson School for HVAC and holds numerous certifications, including certified welder/pipe fitter (AWS), Medical Gas/Vacuum (ASSE 6010), and EPA 608 certification.
As a Chief Engineer Daniel oversees the maintenance and safe operations of all building equipment and systems including BAS, HVAC, and Life Safety.
During his tenure with Davis, Daniel has been heavily involved in the development and renovation of The Union Trust Building from the beginning. Daniel has been instrumental in the building achieving LEED Silver status and Energy Star Certification.
Prior to Davis, Daniel worked for CBRE, JLL, Pittsburgh Pirates, University of Pittsburgh, and The Joseph Horne Company. Due to his extensive experience Daniel has developed a well-rounded approach to building operation including retail, office, housing, and sports facilities. Daniel has been a member of IUOE Local 95 since 1986.

As a Chief Engineer for Davis, Jesse is responsible for monitoring all building operations, maintenance of mechanical equipment and any duties or projects assigned by property management.
Jesse has over 12 years of industry experience and is also a former HVAC Service Technician.
He attended the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology’s HVAC trade school, received his Facility Management Professional certification from Wentworth Institute of Technology Facility Management, and also holds Universal 608 certifications.
As Director of Engineering, Tim oversees the property wide engineering staff in all aspects of building services such as HVAC, life safety, and energy management and is an integral part of the ESG team.
During his tenure with Davis, Tim has been heavily involved in the development and management of the companies ESG program. He has initiated and completed several energy reduction initiatives such as LED lighting upgrades, VFD installations and BMS control sequence upgrades leveraging utility incentives to complete these projects with little to no upfront cost to Davis. Prior to joining Davis in 2019, Tim spent 25 years in the industry working for property owners such as John Hancock, Hines and Equity Office managing operations in properties up to 1.2 million square feet.
Tim is a graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute and a LEED Green Associate. He is also an active member of the BOMA Engineering Committee.
Jeanette Evans joined Davis in 2017 and currently serves as an Assistant Property Manager for Davis. In her role, she supports the buildings’ operational management while maintaining the tenant-to-landlord relationships for some of the firm’s Pittsburgh and Virginia assets, including the Union Trust Building and Gateway Manassas.
Prior to joining Davis, Jeanette worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant for several companies and supported the day-to-day operations as well as the senior management coordination with internal and external personnel.
She earned her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
Eli joined Davis in 2025 and currently serves as an Assistant Property Manager, assisting with the oversight and management of Davis’ life science portfolio in the Greater Boston area.
Prior to joining Davis, Eli was a Property Associate at JLL, where he supported the operations of multiple life science facilities in Cambridge, MA.
Eli earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA in Operations and Administration from Endicott College.
Larisa Keating is an Assistant Property Manager at Davis. Her role involves supporting multiple property managers to ensure smooth operations between tenants and property management.
With a background in affordable housing and community services, Larisa previously worked as an Assistant Property Manager overseeing the day-to-day operations of an apartment complex under the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program.
Larisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Spanish from Ohio Wesleyan University.
Kia currently works as an APM and assists in the management of various commercial, industrial and lab real estate assets.
Kia joined Davis in April of 2022. Prior to working for Davis, Kia worked for The Hamilton Company for 3 years in their residential property management and leasing departments.
Kia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Finance from Boston University.
As Property Manager, Megan oversees a growing portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets in Boston and the surrounding suburbs, while also supporting two Senior Vice Presidents of Property Management as well as our Tenant Construction Project Manager, managing both the day-to-day operations and tenant needs as well as property budgeting, financial goals and overall building and team supervision.
During Megan’s 7 years at Davis, she has played an evolving role, from Tenant Service Coordinator, focusing on the tenant needs of a class A Medical site in Boston, to assisting in navigating all property needs across multiple asset types as well as new acquisitions and sales, and is now overseeing these operations as a Property Manager. Megan is also responsible for administrative and A/R support on major tenant construction projects throughout the company’s portfolio.
Megan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and had previously had a long tenure in hospitality, guest services and conference services as well as hotel executive administration. Megan is currently a BOMA member, enrolled in her RPA designation, and was a nominee for the BOMA Rising Professional Award in 2021.
As a Property Manager at Davis, Andrea oversees a portfolio of more than one million square feet of office, industrial, and retail space. In this role, she is involved in all aspects of property management, including budgeting, acquisitions and dispositions, tenant construction, beginning and ending occupancy, vendor contracting, and tenant relations.
Andrea joined Davis in 2014 and brings over 20 years of experience in commercial and retail real estate. Prior to joining the firm, she held positions at Cushman & Wakefield and The RMR Group (formerly REIT Management & Research).
Andrea earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Gerontology from Worcester State University. She has been an active member of BOMA since 2008 and was honored as the 2026 BOMA TOBY Award Recipient for Property Manager of the Year – Low Rise. She is also a member of the Davis DEIB Committee and Women’s group and actively participates in several charitable organizations.
Chelsea joined Davis as Project Manager – Tenant Projects in September 2024. In her role, she is responsible for bridging the gap between the needs of the tenants with Asset Management, Leasing, and Property Management in all aspects of a project from estimating to completion.
Prior to joining Davis, Chelsea worked on a variety of projects spanning multiple asset classes. In her most recent role, she was the lead Project Manager on new, ground up industrial developments in the Boston area. She also has experience with mixed-use residential, retail, and office.
Chelsea holds a Masters of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Thomas joined Davis in 2014 and has been overseeing daily engineering operations at the Waltham campus. Thomas and his Waltham team are responsible for multiple tenant’s relationships and daily needs for office and life science buildings.
Prior to joining the Davis companies Thomas has worked at Johnson Controls, JLL. and VP Operations for KAP Corporation where he ran an electrical contracting company.
Thomas has a Master Electrician license and a refrigerator technicians license.
Deb joined Davis in 2021 and currently serves as Senior Property Manager. In this role Deb oversees a team managing a portfolio of assets with a focus on life science and office. The portfolio includes 900/920/930/940 Winter Street in Waltham Mass consisting of 689,000 sf of first-class office/lab buildings.
Deb is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property in addition to supporting the portfolio’s ESG initiatives.
Prior to joining Davis, Deb spent 20+ years in the industry working at JLL, Equity Office Properties, Beal & Company and Nordblom Company. Prior to that Deb worked in public accounting at KPMG with a focus on the financial services industry and at Boston Federal Savings Bank in the role of Internal Auditor.
Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Bentley University.
As Senior Property Manager, Steven is responsible for all aspects of property management for 501 Grant Street in Pittsburgh, PA, including day-to-day operations, coordination and supervision of building and tenant improvements, as well as tenant service and satisfaction. Steven and his Davis team provide superior service and lead contractors and vendors to provide excellent performance that is appreciated by Tenants, all within a Class A + setting in a historic 460,000+ SF gothic styled building that was beautifully restored by Davis. Steven is responsible for achieving the financial and operational objectives for this mixed-use asset that encompasses office and retail tenants.
Steven’s background includes years of experience in office and multi-family property management, leasing, and construction management, having acquired CFM and RPA designations as well the responsibility of broker of record and Chief Operating Officer for Soffer Organization, where he represented the landlord on office and retail deals with tenants such as American Eagle Outfitters, Amazon and Centene. Steven has held property management roles for Heitman and Kennedy Wilson Properties as well as gaining sales & engineering experience with Johnson Controls.
Steven received a BS Degree in Business Management from the University of Dayton as well as an MBA with Operations Management focus from the Katz School at the University of Pittsburgh. Steven is active in BOMA and NAIOP and is a licensed real estate broker.
As Vice President – Senior Property Manager, Maureen is responsible for all aspects of property management including day-to-day operations, coordination and supervision of building and tenant improvements, tenant satisfaction by achieving the financial and operational objectives for 800,000 square feet of commercial real estate located in Massachusetts and Virginia.
Maureen was employed with many of the real estate industry’s top firms such as CBRE/NE, Cushman & Wakefield of Massachusetts and leading industrial real estate owner’s such as Prologis, LLC and International Airport Centers, LLC where she went through promotions, sales and mergers which ultimately led to her current position with Davis.
Maureen is a member of CREW and Building Owners & Managers Association, where she received BOMA’s Property Manager of the Year: Low Rise in 2016 and earned her RPA Designation. Maureen participates on BOMA’s Special Events Committee and recently joined their Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee. She is the recipient of Prologis’ Overall Top Ten Customer Satisfaction Property Management Award. Maureen sits on the Board of Directors for Quincy Community Action Program a non-profit dedicated to reducing poverty by helping families achieve financial stability. She is also in training to become a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team and is Treasurer for Quincy’s Ward 6 Democratic City Committee.
As Vice President – Sr. Property Manager, Matthew has managed Charles River Plaza, Boston MA 2001- present. This site is 629,252 Sq Ft and has one of Davis’ largest Client: Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a part of the Mass General Brigham Real Estate group. At Charles River Plaza, MGH leases 56% of the site from Davis as their premier research site, Richard B. Simches Research Center and Matthew also manages the remaining 44% of the site that is Owned and occupied by MGH as Clinical space. Administrative occupancies with outside retail anchor tenants include: Whole Foods Market, Bank of America, CVS and Flour Café.
Andy’s real estate career has surpassed 40 years and has included commercial management, residential management, and residential/commercial brokerage. Andy, the firm’s longest-term employee, has been with Davis since 1994 focusing on office, medical office, life science, industrial, and retail management. Responsibilities include physical asset maintenance, budgeting and property financial performance, energy and ESG performance, capital improvement/tenant improvement construction management, marketing assistance, property acquisition including due diligence coordination, property sale/transition, vendor procurement and management, training, supervision, and mentoring of management staff, and most importantly maintenance of strong tenant, vendor, and general public relationships.
Andy enjoys golf, (particularly the thrill of repairing a ballmark!), boating and performing music and entertaining in a variety of small venues. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Berklee College of Music. Note that planning, executing, and successfully completing any project is a form of good orchestration!
As Managing Director of Property Management and Operations, Mark oversees the firm’s property management and operations activities and is involved in every facet of the business for its existing portfolio, while also overseeing the physical due diligence process for all new firm acquisitions. Mark also serves as a member of both the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
With more than 40 years of commercial real estate experience, Mark has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining Davis, Mark was the Managing Director, Eastern Region for Equity Office (EQ), a national office company wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, where he designed and executed strategies and business plans to maximize investment performance in 40 million sq. ft. of real estate across a portfolio of 80 properties in Chicago, Columbus, Florida, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., New York and Boston.
Prior to joining Equity Office, Mark was President of Winthrop Realty Partners LP, a Boston and New York-based real estate investment trust. Mark was the driving force behind the company’s growth and success as a nationally recognized management company. In his role as President, he directed operations, as well as set the strategic vision for both the residential and commercial management divisions.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
Our HR, Technology, and Executive Services experts advise and support the firm on a broad range of business activities to ensure that our key policies and processes support our long-term success. The Marketing & PR team oversees all aspects of Davis’ marketing and communications activities, including brand governance, media relations, and campaign strategies at both the corporate and asset level.
Michelle Elman is the Director of People and Culture at Davis, where she is responsible for maintaining employee relations and fostering a corporate culture that promotes productivity, creativity, innovation, and personal and professional growth.
In her role, she works strategically with the COO to maximize employee engagement, leading DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) initiatives, managing various employee programs, and overseeing talent acquisition and retention. Among the programs she leads are the Davis summer internship program, the Davis mentor program, and the Davis charitable gift matching program.
Michelle collaborates closely with the Director of HR to ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes. She also manages HR systems, compliance, and reporting to ensure Davis remains a competitive and great place to work.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Hartford and attends the SHRM (Society of Human Resource Management) conferences annually to stay updated on best practices in the field.
As Director of Human Resources, Tanisha leads multi-state payroll operations, benefits strategy, retirement plan design, and compliance with ERISA and HIPAA, along with employee wellness programs for both Davis and Davis Family Charities. She ensures strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while driving operational rigor and consistency across all HR functions.
Since joining Davis in 2022, Tanisha has spearheaded key infrastructure enhancements, including the implementation of ADP Workforce Now’s WFH EDI configuration, strengthening compliance, data integrity, and payroll efficiency. She brings over 15 years of leadership experience across human resources, payroll, and benefits, with a proven track record in system transformations, organizational integrations, and long term workforce and financial strategy.
A trusted advisor to executive leadership, Tanisha leverages a data driven approach to align people strategy with business objectives. Her expertise spans workforce analytics, total rewards, and HR technology optimization, enabling scalable, high-performing organizations.
Tanisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing, and is a longstanding member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Gerardo joined Davis in December 2022 as an IT Systems engineer. He is the first point of contact for any IT related issues. His duties include managing IT ticketing system, Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Intune and Azure AD) and as well Preparing computers and other equipment for schedule and ad hoc replacement. He is also responsible for conducting new hire technology orientation.
Prior to joining The Davis Companies, Gerardo worked as an Application support with Salesforce for The City of Boston for nearly 5 years. In this role he helped implement and support Salesforce for over 1,000 daily users. Before City of Boston, he worked at Trinity Partners where his main duties were to transfer confidential pharmaceutical data to SharePoint. He also completed an internship at Eastern Bank where his main role were to provide technical support for 200+ users in a call center.
Gerardo holds a AS in Information Technologies from SNHU, an IT diploma from Year Up and he is also CompTIA A+ certified.
Nick joined Davis in 2023 as an IT Systems Manager, was promoted to Senior Manager of IT in June 2024, and advanced to Director of IT in January 2026. In his current role, he leads the company’s enterprise technology strategy, infrastructure, and security, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and AI innovation. His work has ensured that technology enables both operational excellence and long-term business growth across the portfolio.
Nick’s leadership approach combines strategic execution, servant leadership, and adaptability. He oversees cross-functional projects and delivers technology solutions aligned with evolving business objectives in a complex and constantly changing environment.
Prior to joining Davis, Nick spent four years as Manager of IT & Security at Reveneer, where he supported rapid organizational growth from 80 to 230 employees by scaling infrastructure, strengthening security, and building IT operations. Earlier in his career, Nick worked in the golf industry as an assistant professional, developing a customer first mindset that continues to inform his leadership and service orientation. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Park and Tourism Management from The Pennsylvania State University.
Christy joined Davis in 2007 and currently serves as Marketing & Leasing Associate where she assists in implementing and executing marketing and leasing strategies and initiatives. Christy collaborates with cross-functional teams including marketing, leasing, brokers, and property management. Her responsibilities include asset marketing collateral preparation and distribution with a focus on brand consistency and impact, leasing/marketing software updates, website and social media updates and supporting broker events.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from SUNY Potsdam.
As Executive Vice President of Creative, Brand, and Communications, Andi oversees all aspects of Davis’ public relations and marketing efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and playing a pivotal role in differentiating Davis’ projects, properties and investments in the marketplace. As an innovative and execution-focused communications strategist, Andi is involved from project conception to stabilization, working alongside leasing and development teams to drive value through positioning, branding, activating and placemaking.
Andi comes to Davis with over 15 years of senior management experience in creative, marketing and corporate communications at the asset and corporate levels. Prior to joining Davis, Andi was responsible for the strategic marketing, destination planning, and B2B/B2C communications at some of the industry’s top developers and REITs including Samuels & Associates, Federal Realty (FRT), and Boston Properties (BXP). Notable projects include the naming, branding and successful launch of Lyrik Back Bay, Boston’s first air-rights project in over 40 years, bringing an entirely new sense of gravity to Back Bay as well as the branding, marketing, positioning and opening of Assembly Row, a $1.5 billion mixed-use award-winning project in Somerville, MA. These projects and Simpson’s work at The Prudential Center, Atlantic Wharf, and Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston; Pike & Rose and Bethesda Row, and Harborplace and The Gallery in Maryland uniquely prepare Simpson to position large-scale, dynamic projects across Davis’ portfolio.
Andi is a SCORE certified mentor for small businesses, mentoring women-owned startups across New England. She is an active member of NAIOP, serving as Chair of its Women’s Forum and sits on CREW and NAIOP’s programming committees.
Jordan joined Davis in November 2025 and supports daily office operations with a focus on maintaining office cleanliness, ordering and managing supplies, and preparing expense reports to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Prior to joining Davis, Jordan worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Phaidon International, where she supported talent acquisition efforts and built strong relationships with candidates and clients.
Jordan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where she was awarded the Fiat Lux Award, which recognizes the most established and honorable student leaders on campus.
Elle Calcagno joined Davis in 2017 as an Executive Assistant, providing full administrative support to the company’s CEO & Founder as well as the Finance team. Before joining Davis, Elle worked in the Fidelity Consulting Group for 13 years and in various executive administrative roles for 15 years at Fidelity Investments. Elle began her career at Eaton Vance as a data processing manager.
Elle holds a Yellow Belt Six Sigma Certification. Her voluntary contributions have included the MSPCA, YMCA, Boston Food Bank, Fidelity Care and several youth and athletic organizations.
Sarah supports the day-to-day operations of the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director of Property Management & Operations. Maintaining a wide range of responsibilities including calendar management, travel arrangements, meeting preparation and organization.
Prior to joining Davis, Sarah was with Samuels & Associates for 9 years. Her role was wide ranging from Executive Admin support to office management, including the design and ambiance of the office, and corporate event planning.
Sarah is a graduate of Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and a specialization in film studies. In 2022 Sarah was recognized as New England Real Estate Journals Ones to Watch. When not working Sarah loves going for long walks and hiking with her beloved dog Birdie along with spinning and enjoying a glass of Italian red wine(s). She is a long-time supporter of the Boston Main Streets Foundation, Heading Home, She4She and Schultz Guest House. Sarah is a certified notary public.
Paula joined Davis in 2012 and currently serves as Executive Assistant to Cappy Daume and the Asset Management Team as well as Office Manager. She is responsible for daily administration tasks, including handling sensitive information and coordinating all aspects of business and travel, settling business expenses, calendar management, and adjusting priorities. In addition, Paula coordinates the scheduling of Davis’ Quarterly Portfolio Status Updates, Fund and Non-Fund Summaries, Quarterly Valuations/Models and is key administrator for View the Space leasing tool.
Prior to joining Davis, Paula worked at State Street Corporation for 13 years as a Purchasing Coordinator, where she achieved savings totaling $1.077M from 2006 to 2010 through contract negotiation/renewals and assisted in the development of cross-business unit strategies and cost savings opportunities. She has also served as an Executive Assistant at State Street in Global Real Estate Services where she performed administrative duties and highly confidential project assignments relative to mergers and acquisitions and cyber security. Paula has worked across various industries including healthcare (BlueCross Blue Shield of MA – Buyer Consultant), technology (Strategic Networks Consulting, Inc. and Microcom – Office Manager and Executive Assistant), retail (Auto Palace Loss Prevention – Executive Assistant) and non-profit (National Fire Protection Association – Marketing Coordinator and Executive Assistant).
Paula holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Emmanuel College, and an Associations Degree in Business Administration from Quincy College.
Paula is member of NAIOP and a Committee Member of Davis’ United Way of Massachusetts annual fundraising campaigns.
Ellen serves as Executive Assistant to the Chief Development Officer and the broader Development team. In this role, she manages complex and evolving calendars, coordinates high-level internal and external meetings, prepares expense reports and oversees travel logistics. Ellen also plays a pivotal role in facilitating smooth communication across departments, maintaining databases, supporting invoice coordination and assisting with internal events.
Before joining Davis, Ellen built an extensive career supporting senior leaders in the private equity and renewable energy sectors. At RWE Offshore Wind, she supported two high-profile wind energy executives, and at Cove Hill Partners she served as Executive Assistant to the Managing Partner. Prior to that, she spent 23 years as an Executive Assistant at THL Partners.
Ellen holds a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in English from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tufts University.
As a Senior Executive Assistant, Mary currently supports the company President and Investor Relations team. In her role, Mary coordinates and provides administrative assistance to help to ensure the efficient day-to-day workflow of the business process.
Since joining Davis in 2016, Mary has served as a critical component of the firm and supported the strategic growth of the department and its collaborative, integrated business operations with the investments, asset management, and financial operations teams. Mary brings over 20 years of executive and administrative support experience to Davis. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at Arcadis IBI Group, Margulies Peruzzi Architects, Little Brown Publishing Co., and Blaine The Hair and Beauty School.
Mary graduated with a BA in History and Education from Regis College.
