May 13, 2026 – BOSTON
The Davis Companies (Davis), a vertically-integrated real estate investment, development, and management firm, today announced the promotion of Quentin Reynolds to President and Chief Investment Officer of Davis. Reynolds, who has led Davis’ acquisition team for over a decade and has served as the firm’s CIO since 2020, will assume responsibility for overseeing Davis’ investment management business and platform expansion, working in tandem with CEO Stephen Davis to continue to drive the growth of Davis’ investment platform.
Since launching commingled real estate funds in 2009, Davis has raised approximately $2.9 billion in equity across five value-added funds. As a fully integrated owner, developer, operator, and fund manager, the firm invests across all real estate asset classes with a primary concentration in three industry verticals: residential, industrial/self-storage, and science and technology assets. In his new role, Quentin will oversee strategy formation, strategic partnerships, and fund management across the firm’s growing platform.
“As we continue to expand our institutional platform, Quentin is unquestionably the right person to lead our investment management business,” said Stephen Davis, CEO at Davis. “Quentin brings an institutional rigor to the ways in which we approach our fiduciary obligations, and his perspective and obsession with detail have created tremendous value for our team and our investors over the past decade. He has been an invaluable partner to me, and I am extremely fortunate and excited to have him take on this expanded role.”
Reynolds joined Davis in 2013 and led the firm’s investment team during investment periods for Funds II – V. He chairs the Investment Committee for each of the active funds, and shares responsibility for setting investment strategies, overseeing fund level portfolio construction, and overall risk management.
“I look forward to continuing to be a trusted fiduciary for our investors, delivering strong outcomes by leveraging the fully integrated platform and talented team across every level of this organization that make Davis unique,” said Quentin Reynolds, President and CIO at Davis. “Jon and Stephen have built a tremendous senior leadership team, and I’m excited to continue partnering with them to grow our capabilities, invest in our people, and produce compelling outcomes for our investors and partners.”
Prior to Davis, Reynolds spent more than 15 years in real estate finance and investment management at Lehman Brothers and Silverpeak, where he oversaw the acquisition, finance and management of investments across a range of market structures. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Columbia Business School.
