MAYOR WALSH JOINS DAVIS COMPANIES AT TELFORD 180 RIBBON CUTTING
TDC contributes significant homeownership opportunities to thriving Allston neighborhood
BOSTON, MA – October 2, 2017 – Today The Davis Companies (TDC) and Mayor Martin J. Walsh held a ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of Telford 180, an 85-unit condominium building located at the corner of Soldiers Field Road and Telford Street in Allston. Contributing to the dynamic pace of development of the Allston-Brighton neighborhood, the highly anticipated six-story building features a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom homes, including six affordable, family sized units targeted to first-time home buyers.
The opening of Telford 180 marks the final completion of the Charlesview Apartments development, a multi-phase project that commenced in 2011 with the construction of 280 mixed-income and affordable units in the Charlesview Residences located adjacent to Telford 180. Together, the two projects enhance the vibrancy and diversity of the Allston-Brighton community through the creation of both significant market-rate home ownership and affordable housing opportunities.
