The Davis Companies acquired One Cabot in 2015 with a plan to revitalize the building. One Cabot was constructed in 1989 and at the time of acquisition, boasted a full-service cafeteria, fitness facility, a generous parking ratio, including 170 covered executive spaces inside the building, and abundant power and emergency systems.
The One Cabot project is a dramatic revitalization of the property in order to reposition it as a high quality, value-alternative to properties in Boston, Cambridge and the suburbs.

Value Creation Strategy
The Davis Companies repositioned One Cabot Road to offer a fully renovated, two-story lobby with networking and collaboration spaces; refurbished elevator cabs and common areas to reflect the lobby aesthetic; a 10,333 SF cafeteria; an updated fitness center with locker rooms and showers; a 10,000 SF outdoor patio with views of Boston and Boston Harbor, year-round seating, a fire pit and game space, and additional visitor parking. These value-add activities were performed as a team effort with Margulies Perruzzi Architects.
