As Managing Director of Property Management and Operations, Mark oversees all of the firm’s property management and operations activities and is involved in every facet of the business for its existing portfolio while also overseeing the physical due diligence process for all new firm acquisitions. Mark also serves as a member of both the firm’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.

With more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience, Mark has held various leadership positions. Prior to joining Davis, Mark was the Managing Director, Eastern Region for Equity Office (EQ) a national office company wholly-owned by Blackstone’s real estate funds, where he designed and executed strategies and business plans to maximize investment performance in 40 million sq. ft. of real estate across a portfolio of 80 properties in Chicago, Columbus, Florida, Atlanta, DC, NY and Boston.

Prior to joining Equity Office, Mark was President of Winthrop Realty Partners LP, a Boston and New York-based real estate investment trust. Mark was the driving force behind the company’s growth and success as a nationally recognized management company. In his role as President he directed all facets of operations for both the residential and commercial management divisions. In addition, he set the strategic vision and plan for both management divisions.

Before joining Winthrop, Mark worked for seven years at Jaymont Properties in Boston where he was an Assistant Vice President. He began his professional real estate career in 1984 at RM Bradley.

Mark has been involved with several professional organizations including the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and NAIOP. Additionally, he has served on several boards of trustees including Trinity-Pawling School and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Psychology from Lake Forest College in Illinois.
