Boston Real Estate Firm Names New President For Second Generation

BOSTON, May 14, 2026 – The Davis Cos. has named a new president as it begins its second generation in business.

The firm said Wednesday it has named Quentin Reynolds its president and chief investment officer, serving as a lieutenant to Stephen Davis, who became CEO April 1.

Davis is leading the company into its second generation now that, Jonathan Davis, who founded the Davis Cos. in 1976, has stepped down from the firm’s top role. The elder Davis remains with the company as its executive chairman.

Reynolds has been with the Davis Cos. since 2013, including the last six years as its chief investment officer. He was previously at Lehman Brothers, where he worked in real estate finance and investment management, and at Silverpeak, where he oversaw the acquisition, finance and management of investments.

Reynolds will now oversee the Davis Cos.’ investment management business, including strategic partnerships.

“As we continue to expand our institutional platform, Quentin is unquestionably the right person to lead our investment management business,” Davis, the CEO, said.

The firm’s local holdings include the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and 88 Black Falcon Terminal in the Seaport. It is also developing a 105-acre stretch of Everett that was formerly an ExxonMobil oil tank farm. Development plans are still being shaped, but the last oil tank was removed last month.
