We are focused on improving the diversity of our employees, vendors and contractors to better reflect the diversity of the Boston metro area. Our most recent hiring period yielded 46% women and people of color among new employees; this brings us to a near-even split at the company level, with 48% women and people of color. Among our leadership roles, 37% are held by women and people of color. We have continued our longstanding involvement with Thrive Scholars and PREA’s Sponsors for Educational Opportunity program in an effort to build a pipeline of diverse candidates with excellent qualifications. Finally, we are rolling out an online registration tool for our vendors and contractors in order to track alignment with our ESG objectives.
