Since making our first life science property investment in 1994, Davis has developed deep relationships within Greater Boston’s life science and medical industries and allied ourselves with industry experts and thought leaders, in order to further our knowledge of life sciences development and management issues, as well as emerging industry trends. Over the years, our portfolio has expanded include world-class facilities such as Charles River Plaza, adjacent to Massachusetts General Hospital, 900 Winter Street on the Reservoir Woods Campus, 35 Cambridge Park Drive, The Quad Campus in West Cambridge and Charles Park, adjacent to Kendall Square in East Cambridge, amongst others.

In the late 1990s, Davis entered the real estate industrial and self-storage space, setting out to capitalize on opportunities to acquire, reposition and bring market value to distressed assets. We continue to maintain industrial and self-storage investing as one of our core competencies. To date, we have acquired and/or developed more than 14.3 million square feet of industrial and self-storage properties across the United States.

Multifamily investment was Davis’ primary focus at the company’s inception in 1976. Over the years, our residential investment strategy has expanded to include new construction, repositioning of failed residential development projects, development of single-family subdivisions and the purchase of troubled loan portfolios. In total, Davis has participated in the investment, ownership and development of more than 12,544 residential units across the United States.
